Student Activities 2018-19:

1. Mr. Vinod Jamadar and Mr. Shivaraj Dundashi, B.Sc. V Semester Students have participated in state level science exhibition held at R.L. Science Institute Belagavi on 08/09/2018 and presented the topic on ‘Practices for increased production using vermicomposting’.

2. Miss Sneha Vaddatti and Miss Soubhagya Goudar have participated in National level competition on “In situ biosynthesis of nano particles” organized by IIT Kharagpur at P. C. Jabin science college Hubballi on 13-14/02/2019. Miss Sneha Vaddatti stood second in the top 5 who were selected for the finale to be held at IIT Kharagpur.

3. Every Saturday afternoon, Students are being participating in cleaning the campus and garden.

4.Students involved in seasonal propagation of horticulture plants.

1. Smt. P.M.Shambalimath, Miss. M.S.Murigennavar and Miss. J.B.Surpur attended ‘Degree College Teachers Training Programme’ at Talent Development Centre, IISc, Challakere Campus, Kudapura, Chitradurga Dist., from 22/11/2018 to 13/12/2018.

2. Miss.M.S.Murigennavar was invited as the Resource person for science exhibition at Vigneshwar high school, Vidyanagar on 21/12/2018.

3. Prof. S.N.Emmi attended and presented paper in a two day National conference on “Biodiversity – Management issues and conservation strategies” at G.C.College Ankola, on 21-22/12/2018.

4. Prof. S.N.Emmi & Miss.M.S.Murigennavar were invited as the resource persons for science exhibition competition at Agastya foundation on 18/01/2019.

5. Prof. S.N.mmi & Miss.M.S.Murigennavar were invited as the resource persons for seminar competition organized by Zoology Association on 16/02/2019.

6. Prof. S.N.Emmi attended one day National work shop on “Developing trends in quality education: the new journey” at J.T. College, Gadag on 23/02/ 2019.

7. Prof. S.N.Emmi attended a two days National level seminar on “Rejuvenation of undergraduate education” at Karnatak University, Dharwad on 26-27/02/2019.

8. Prof. S.N.Emmi attended 21 days Inter Disciplinary Refresher Course from 11/03/2019 to 31/03/2019 held at HRDC, Karnatak University, Dharwad.
